Yanri Wijayanti Subronto
Head of The HIV Research Group
Yanri Wijayanti Subronto is an academician, clinician, and researcher in the field of Internal Medicine, specializing in Tropical and Infectious Diseases, at UGM’s Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing, and Dr Sardjito. She received his PhD in Tuberculosis Immunology from Leiden University in the Netherlands and is now involved in HIV/AIDS research. She is a member of the International AIDS Society (IAS), PETRI, the Ministry of Health’s Expert Panel on HIV, AIDS, and PIMS, and serves as Chair of the HIV AIDS Management Team, Head of the HIV Polyclinic (Edelweis) at RSUP Dr. Sardjito, and Head of the HIV AIDS Division at the Center for Tropical Medicine, FKKMK UGM. She is currently involved in Proactive and D2EFT research (NIH and Litbangkes Kemenkes RI), DOMINO Study (LSHTM, The Kirby Institute – UNSW, and UI), CopCOV study (Oxford Eijkman Research Unit). She has been with ALMI since its inception and was involved in the preparation of the SAINS 45 book, particularly the chapter on Health and Medicine.
